Assistant Director of Educational Services and Equipment
Supervision of departments and technical units to ensure an optimal learning environment
Main Goal: Supervise the departments and technical units to ensure the provision of an optimal learning environment through equipment, facilities, and services with high efficiency and quality.
Monitor workflow in technical units and provide direct supervision.
Submit periodic reports to the director on progress and observations.
Coordinate between units: Equipment (if any), Classrooms, and Labs to ensure integrated operations.
Contribute to preparing the annual plan for educational needs, including equipment and facilities for both male and female sections.
Support and guide unit staff and determine their training needs.
Equipment and Competitions Unit
Develop a clear action plan enabling all relevant parties to monitor the progress of annual equipment work step by step.
Prepare the schedule for receiving orders and circulate it to university departments.
Support the preparation of competitions and estimated budgets.
Receive orders and assess actual needs in terms of technical specifications and quantities.
Classrooms and Computer Labs Unit
Document and monitor classroom data (number, capacity, location, equipment).
Ensure classrooms are equipped with modern educational technologies as needed.
Coordinate with colleges to determine annual requirements.
Coordinate with other university departments regarding educational services and equipment (inventory control, central stores, movement, etc.).
Prepare periodic reports on classroom readiness and annual update requirements.
Document computer lab data including number and types of devices.
Follow up on malfunctions and provide monthly reports.
Submit monthly reports to the Assistant Director.
Labs and Laboratories Unit
Document and monitor classroom data (number, capacity, location, equipment).
Ensure classrooms are equipped with modern educational technologies as needed.
Coordinate with colleges to determine annual requirements.
