45,000 students from Jazan University benefited from the E-learning system

In the culmination of the efforts made by Jazan University in the transformation to e-learning and distance education, the number of male and female students benefiting from the “Blackboard” e-learning management system reached more than 45,000 in the past week.

For his part, the Dean of E-learning and Information Technology indicated that the deanship contributed to the training and preparation of more than 23 E-learning units in the University colleges. These units consist of more than 60 members who speak both Arabic and English for training, and we have provided them with technical support and facilitation of the communication and implementation operations, and the conduct of 67 training courses that benefited 2500 faculty members. A number of video file links created by the Deanship have been provided to the college units for e-learning and made available through their social media channels, a hotline for technical support for male and female students and faculty, training and explanations through specialized videos and troubleshooting services offered round the clock.
The Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology has published 8 training guides for students through posters and brochures for faculty members, in addition to publishing 9 educational video files for the skills of using the Blackboard e-learning management system for students, the same for faculty members in Arabic, and 5 videos in English.
