Dr. Yahya Mobarki is an  assistant professor of linguistics and applied linguistics, an active researcher, the vice-dean for research and development, and a former head of planning and development committee in the department of English. He is primarily interested in discourse analysis, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, and historical linguistics.

د. يحي مباركي أستاذ مساعد  في اللغويات واللغويات التطبيقية، باحث نشط، وكيل كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية للبحث والتطوير، رئيس سابق للجنة التخطيط والتطوير في قسم اللغة الإنجليزية. تكمن اهتماماته الرئيسية في تحليل الخطاب، التداولية، اللغويات الاجتماعية، اللغويات التاريخية.
