First aid course for fractures at University College Farasan

The University College of Farasan, represented by the Initiatives Unit, under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr. Afaf Muhammad Ba Ba’ir, implemented a first aid course for fractures targeting female employees, teachers and health guides from the Farasan community. Eighteen trainees got benefitted from the course.

The course was carried out by Dr. Santi Mutipol and Dr. Halima Al-Qadi, members of the Department of Nursing. The course dealt with the definition of fractures, their types and causes of fractures, as well as the symptoms and signs of fractures and the method of preparing different bandages and splints. ​
