President of Jazan University inspects the Girls’ Colleges Campus at Mahilya

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, inspected the girls’ colleges complex project at Mahilya, and reviewed the work of construction, furnishing, and the completion of the complex’s facilities in the presence of the University’s Vice President for Academic Affairs (Female) Dr. Ayesha Bint Hassan Zikri, Dean of E-learning and IT Dr. Ibrahim Ghashim and Supervisor of Department of Operations and Maintenance Mr. Hussein Qasadi, and a number of officials of the concerned departments.

His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hammad bin Muhammad Al-Sheikh, had inspected the project of the Girls’ Colleges Complex on his visit to Jazan region, noting the efforts made by the university’s administration in overcoming the challenges to complete the project.

The project has a capacity for 15,000 female students, and includes 4 colleges: the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems, the Faculty of Design and Architecture, and the Joint Health Program, in addition to 12 departments, 5 support deanships, a Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the English language institute, 184 classrooms, 83 laboratories, and 20 halls for training and holding workshops.
