On August 21, 2024, Wednesday, the recently admitted students in the Mathematics Department , College of Science, Jazan University participated in an orientation program organized by the Department under the supervision of Dr. Othman Mosa Hakami, the Dean of the College of Science. The recently enrolled students in the department received updates on the department's accomplishments and the academic curriculum, as well as provided with information regarding their responsibilities and the challenges that they may encounter. They were effectively guided by providing them with a comprehensive overview of the department program's primary aims and objectives. Dr. Yahya Bhakari discussed the academic counseling pertaining to the rules and regulations of the university. Dr. Bhakit gave a presentation on the academic timetable and its implementation.

The Dean of the College of Science expresses appreciation for the recently implemented program in the department and extends well wishes to all incoming students for a highly successful academic journey ahead.
