E-Participation Policy
In line with the directions and policies of the Digital Government Authority, the Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology at Jazan University seeks to enhance the beneficiary experience by adopting the beneficiary-centric approach in the delivery of its digital services within and outside the university.
Based on this principle, the Deanship has implemented this concept by providing the opportunity for university members and all beneficiaries of its services to express their opinions and suggestions through the university’s electronic portal and its official website, enabling them to share valuable ideas and constructive proposals that contribute to improving and developing the quality of the services provided.
This initiative stems from the Deanship’s belief in the importance of community participation by both internal and external stakeholders, through listening to all views and proposals that may directly or indirectly contribute to the development of all current and future projects and services.
The Deanship ensures that all contributions and suggestions are monitored and reviewed prior to publication to verify compliance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the policies of the Digital Government Authority, in order to support and achieve the highest levels of transparency and to reach the desired objectives, according to the following terms and conditions:

Compliance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Adherence to the rules and regulations of Jazan University.

Contributions must be written clearly and free from offensive language.

Do not submit the same contribution multiple times.

Contributions should be serious, objective, clear, and concise.

Personal data such as names, contact information, and addresses must not be published.

Avoid using any inappropriate or unethical expressions.

Each user may submit only one contribution per topic.

Once the participation period ends, the Deanship will close the submission window for that topic.
The Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology monitors and reviews all submissions before publishing to ensure compliance with national regulations, support transparency, and enhance constructive dialogue between both parties to achieve the intended goals.

Stages of E-Participation in Decision-Making
Stage 1: Topic Announcement
The Deanship publishes proposed topics to the target audience or the public and invites them to participate electronically in decision-making through:

Stage 2: Collecting E-Participations
When a topic is announced, participants can share their opinions in accordance with the stated guidelines.
After the participation period ends, the Deanship closes submissions for that topic.
Stage 3: Analysis and Selection of Key Contributions
In this stage, contributions are reviewed and analyzed, and the most relevant inputs are utilized in decision-making and policy formulation.
Stage 4: Recommendations and Decisions
Finally, the Deanship publishes the outcomes and actions taken on the topic’s page, including responses to key contributions whenever possible.
