Jazan University: Media Department

For four days, Jazan University recorded a remarkable and distinguished attendance at the International Conference and Exhibition for Education, and its slogan “We Invest in Our Excellence” was in harmony with its achievements and contributions to the development of the community, the enhancement of human skills and capabilities, the development of curricula and plans and their digital transformation, as well as the improvement of its graduates and support for the research and innovation system, developing systems and government procedures, raising spending efficiency, empowering women in leadership positions, and developing their research and educational infrastructure.

Minister's tribute

His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hammad bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh, praised the efforts of Jazan University in investing its pavilion and participating in the International Conference and Exhibition for Education by organizing panel discussions that were attended by a number of Saudi university officials, in addition to its partnerships and agreements that achieve integration between it and various educational institutions. There was praise for the hard work of the University’s employees, led by His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, and wishes to continue the impressive achievements in various fields.

Unique design

During the design of its pavilion that was to be set up at the international conference and exhibition, Jazan University took into account all the aspects that make it a modern design, as it simulated the university tower, which is a developmental landmark. Also the University's achievements were showcased, and the design of the Jazan University pavilion was praised by visitors and officials.

Excellent team

Jazan University's media team kept pace with the current events witnessed at the International Education Conference and Exhibition throughout its four days, recording a distinguished media presence by transmitting the event through "live broadcast", in addition to covering activities, monitoring and recording the impressions of the participants in the pavilion's activities, and the number of minutes of live broadcast of Jazan University's participation in Conference and Exhibition on Education. In all 650 minutes recorded, over 1,000 photographs taken, 30 visual reports produced, 22 infographics, 12 press reports published, and more than 50 tweets were broadcast.

Discussion panels

In 8 distinguished panel discussions, Jazan University presented its pioneering and distinguished experience in enhancing the quality of graduates, developing and raising the level of performance, scientific innovations, new concepts in leadership and education, international research developments, encouraging social activities and community service. It also allowed all officials and guests of other parties to participate and benefit from the summary of its experience. This was achieved through the remarkable attendance and the wide participation of the panelists.

The lenses of Jazan University documented the opinions and impressions of the conference guests through their statements that were recorded and broadcast via the University’s handle on “Twitter”, which confirmed the extent to which University officials and other parties admired what was presented, as well as benefiting from its experiences and initiatives in building people, developing society and strengthening partnerships with its members and institutions. It has undertaken development projects that respond to the needs of the future and enhance human skills and capabilities.

Agreements

Jazan University, during its participation in the International Conference and Exhibition for Education, concluded 4 agreements with: the Saudi Electronic University, the College of Medical Care, the University of Jeddah and the National Center for E-Learning, in the pavilion of the Ministry of Education, which confirms the importance of holding such conferences, which is a global scientific and knowledge movement. It establishes mutual cooperation and integrated partnerships that contribute to serving and building society.
