Jazan University: Media Department

Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar'ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Anwar bin Muhammad Makeen, inaugurated the health awareness exhibition as one of the social responsibility initiatives of Jazan University, which is implemented by the College of Medicine represented by its Student Club and the Community Service Unit. The health exhibition will last for two days from 20 to 21 Ramadan at Kadi Mall in Jazan city.

Dr. Anwar Makin said that the awareness exhibition addresses a number of high priority health issues through a variety of programs such as child health and chronic diseases, the “Siraga wa Haja” program to promote a healthy lifestyle and quality of life, in addition to the “Be careful” program to introduce the basics of first aid and the best methods of dealing with accidents and injuries.

On its first day, the health exhibition witnessed a huge turnout from citizens and residents, as the visitors of the exhibition expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the community services provided by Jazan University, especially the various programs implemented during the holy month of Ramadan, and presented by university students.
