Jazan University: Media Department

Jazan University Council held its seventh session for the academic year 1443 AH this evening in the University Council Hall in the Administrative Tower, headed by His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani. Also present at the meeting was the Secretary General for Universities Council Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, and the University Vice Presidents, Deans of Faculties and Supporting Deanships.

The Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and the Secretary of the University Council, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Hassan Abu Rasin, explained that the council approved a set of decisions, including: appointing a number of Saudi faculty members, 12 to the rank of assistant professor, 3 as lecturers, and approved scholarships and its continuity for 23 teaching assistants and lecturers, granting the scientific degree to 6 graduate students, approval of the formation of the audit committee to follow up the work of the external auditors and supervising the work of the internal audit, approval of the terms of admission and the proposed numbers for admission to graduate programs for the academic year 1444 AH, and approval of the admission plan For the academic year 1444 AH, approval of a cooperation agreement between Jazan University and the University of Jeddah, and approval of a cooperation agreement between Jazan University and the Saudi Electronic University.
