As an extension of the awareness and educational campaign launched by the Saudi Charitable Society for Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness, the Applied College in Samta organized an awareness corner under the slogan #I Need You. Through which questions posed by corner visitors about Alzheimer’s, which is a medical condition that includes a continuous decline in the ability to think and in behavioral and social skills, were answered. Which negatively affects a person's ability to work independently. The health unit supervisor also explained the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease, which are poor memory, difficulty completing familiar tasks, mental confusion in time and place, loss of personal belongings, and changes in mood and personality. The best ways to deal with those infected with this disease were discussed, to relieve them, stand with them, and support them. The Saudi Alzheimer's Charitable Society was also introduced and the most prominent volunteer services it provides to Alzheimer's patients and their families and the support the society provides for studies and research in this field.
