    Guidance program for developments in the academic year 1445 AH at the Applied College in Samta

    On Sunday, 02/04/1445 AH, the Applied College in Samtah received its new female students as part of its guidance program to prepare new female students for the academic year 1445 AH, which was implemented over two days. The program aimed to introduce the most prominent rules, systems, and services available to male and female undergraduate students at Jazan University, which contributes to raising the level of Awareness among female students and ensuring their regularity in lectures. The program included a number of segments, the most notable of which was the welcome speech by Her Excellency the Executive Director of the Applied College in Samtah, Her Excellency Dr. Mead Bint Ali Siddiq, in which she welcomed the new female students and congratulated them on their acceptance. She also emphasized the importance of recognizing the generous support provided by our wise leadership for education in all its fields, and encouraged the female students to be keen on Benefit from everything the university offers to its male and female students and engage in various activities. This was followed by the paragraph “Together we learn about the university,” during which an introductory overview of the university was presented, then the college, its units, and the services provided by each unit, then the paragraph, “My Experience in Student Activities,” presented by graduate Alia Madkhali, which came with the aim of introducing the student activities provided by the Deanship of Social Affairs. Students, the college, student clubs and ways to participate in them, and their impact on the outstanding educational achievement of male and female university students. The section "Stay Aware!" was also presented. Which aimed to enhance the level of awareness among female students about the rules and regulations, and to review the rights and duties of the university student in light of the student conduct and discipline regulations at Jazan University and the regulations for study, examinations, and executive rules at Jazan University. A number of training workshops were also provided on electronic services, how to access the university account and related services, and how to access the Blackboard learning management system. Finally, the students were taken on field tours to introduce them to the college’s facilities.
