Dr. Yahya Mobarki is an  assistant professor of linguistics and applied linguistics, an active researcher, the vice-dean for research and development, and a former head of planning and development committee in the department of English. He is primarily interested in discourse analysis, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, and historical linguistics.
