College of Engineering The Royal Decree approving the establishment of the College of Engineering in the Jazan region was issued under Order No. 7/B/24232 on 11/5/1425 AH, and the college was initially affiliated with King Khalid University. Academic study commenced in the first semester of the academic year 1426/1427 AH. The college later joined Jazan University by another Royal Decree effective from 1/12/1427 AH. Since its inception, the college has been distinguished by offering specialized engineering programs, thereby adding an important milestone to higher education in the region.
College of Computer Science and Information Technology The College of Computer Science and Information Technology was established by Royal Decree No. 7/B/24322 on 11/5/1425 AH under the supervision of King Khalid University in Abha. In 1428 AH, it came under the administration of King Abdulaziz University. On 12/1/1427 AH, a Royal Decree was issued to establish Jazan University, which resulted in the incorporation of the college into the university. The college initially started with two departments: Computer Science and Information Systems, and later established the Computer Engineering and Networks Department in the first semester of the academic year 1429/1430 AH.Current Departments Following the merger, the College now comprises the following departments:

- Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Department of Chemical Engineering
- Department of Mechanical Engineering
- Department of Computer Science
