University Senior Management

The quantitative expansion witnessed by Jazan University reflected in the number of its faculties, scientific departments, supporting deanships, faculty members, male and female students, and staff coincides with the university’s interest in developing academic and administrative work in accordance with its strategic plan, in accordance with evaluation standards, and local and global academic accreditation. And to achieve this balance. and promote this effort; Jazan University has established four vice presidencies for the University:

  • University Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research
  • University Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs
  • University Vice Presidency for Student Affairs (Female Section)

 

 

 

University Colleges:

Jazan University includes (23) colleges, including: (21) colleges that grant bachelor's degrees to male and female students, and one college grants diploma degrees. These colleges and their scientific departments are:
 

  1.  Community College:
    Established in 1418 AH, corresponding to (1997), and consists of two departments: the Department of Administrative Sciences, and the Department of Computer and Information.
  2. The College of Medicine:
    Was established in 1421 AH corresponding to (2000), and it has 19 departments: Microbiology and Parasitology, Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, Medical Biology, Clinical Pharmacology, Pediatrics, Pathology, Anatomy and Histology, Ophthalmology. Department of Surgery, Department of Medical Physics, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Department of Physiology, Department of Biochemistry, Department of Family and Community Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging, Department of Anesthesia, Department of ENT, and Orthopedics Department.
  3.  College of Engineering: 
    It was established in the year 1425 AH, corresponding to (2004), and consists of seven departments: Thermal Engineering and Water Desalination Technology Department, Electrical Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering Department, Industrial Engineering Department, Civil Engineering Department, Architectural Engineering Department, and Chemical Engineering Department.
  4.  College of Computer Science and Information Technology:
    It was established in the year 1425 AH, corresponding to (2004), and consists of three departments: the Department of Computer Science, the Department of Information Systems, and the Department of Computer Engineering and Networks.
  5.  College of Applied Medical Sciences: 
    It was established in 1426 AH, corresponding to (2005), and consists of five departments: the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, the Department of Nursing, the Department of Diagnostic Radiology Technology, the Department of Physiotherapy, and the Department of Clinical Nutrition.
  6.  College of Science: 
    It was established in 1426 AH corresponding to (2005), and it consists of four departments: the Department of Biology, the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Physics, and the Department of Chemistry.
  7.  College of Pharmacy:
    It was established in 1429 AH, corresponding to (2008), and consists of five departments: the Department of Pharmaceutics, the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, the Department of Pharmacognosy, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  8.  The College of Business Administration:
    It was established in 1429 AH, corresponding to (2008), and consists of seven departments: the Department of Economics, the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Finance and Banking, the Accounting Department, the Department of Management Information Systems, the Systems Department, and the Marketing and E-Commerce Department.
  9.  College of Dentistry:
    It was established in 1429 AH, corresponding to (2008), and consists of four departments: the Department of Dental Protection, the Department of Dental Repair, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Diagnostic Sciences, and the Department of Prosthodontics.
  10. College of Design and Architecture: 
    It was established in 1430 AH, corresponding to (2009), and consists of six departments: Interior Design Department, Product Design Department, Architecture Department, Planning Department, Publications and Multimedia Design Department, and Applied Arts Department.
  11.  College of Arts and Humanities: 
    It was established in 1430 AH, corresponding to (2009), and consists of seven departments: the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, the Department of Social Sciences, the Department of Libraries and Information, the Department of Press and Media, the Department of Tourism and Antiquities, the Department of Political Science, and the Department of English Language.
  12.  College of Education: 
    It was established in 1430 AH, corresponding to (2009), and it consists of nine departments: the Department of Islamic Culture, the Department of Special Education, the Department of Education, the Department of Art Education, the Department of Physical Education, the Department of Psychology, the Department of Kindergarten, Department of Curricula and Teaching Methods and Department of Education Technologies.
  13. University College in Samtah: 
    It was established in 1430 AH, corresponding to (2009), and consists of seven departments: Radiology Department, Chemistry Department, Nursing Department, Physics Department, Kindergarten Department, Home Economics Department, and English Department.
  14. University College in Farasan: 
    was established in 1430 AH, corresponding to (2009), and consists of five departments: the Department of Medical Sciences, the Department of English Language, the Department of Home Economics, the Department of Mathematics, and the Department of Nursing.
  15.  University College in Al-Darb: 
    It was established in 1430 AH, corresponding to (2009), and consists of eight departments: the Department of Physics, the Department of Chemistry, the Department of Biology, the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Nursing, the Department of English, the Department of Computer Science, and the Department of Business Administration.
  16. University College in Al-Ardah: 
    It was established in 1431 AH corresponding to (2010), and it consists of five departments: Department of Applied Medical Sciences (medical laboratories), Department of Physics, Department of English (translation), Department of Chemistry, Department of Computer Science.
  17.  College of Public Health and Tropical Medicine:
    It was established in 1432 AH, corresponding to (2011), and consists of eight departments: Epidemiology Department, Environmental Health Department, Health Awareness and Promotion Department, Health Information Technology and Management Department, Medical Statistics Department, Occupational Health Department, and Maternal Health and Childhood, Department of Health Services Administration.
  18.  College of Nursing: 
    It was established in 1432 AH, corresponding to (2011), and consists of nine departments: Midwifery Department, Operations Department, Dental Health Department, Optometry Department, Speech-Audio Department, Dental Prosthesis Department, Nursing Department, Respiratory Therapy Department, and Ambulance Department and emergency.
  19. College of Sharia and Law: 
    It was established in 1432 AH, corresponding to (2011), and consists of three departments: the Department of Sharia, the Department of Private Law, and the Department of Public Law.
  20.  University College in Al-Dayer: 
    It was established in 1433 AH, corresponding to (2012), and consists of five departments: the Department of Applied Medical Sciences (Nursing), the Department of Mathematics, the Department of English (translation), the Department of Biology, the Department of Islamic Studies (no degree awarded).
  21.  University College in Sabya:
    It was established in 1433 AH, corresponding to (2012), and consists of nine departments: Nursing Department, Radiology Department, Chemistry Department, Mathematics Department, English Language Department (Translation), Computer Science Department, Accounting Department, and Kindergarten Department, and the Department of Special Education.
  22. University College in Abu Arish: 
    It was established in 1434 AH, corresponding to (2013), and consists of six departments: Laboratories Department, Nutrition Department, Physics Department, Biology Department, Information Systems Department, and Marketing Department.
  23.  Community College in Baish Governorate: 
    It was established in 1434 AH, corresponding to (2013), and consists of seven departments: Programming and Computer Operation Department, Systems Design and Analysis Department, Accounting Department, Marketing Department, Business Administration Department, Executive Secretarial Department, and Tourism and Hospitality Department.
    In addition to other colleges that have been restructured, they are: Teachers College, Girls' College of Education, scientific departments, College of Education for girls, literary departments, Teachers Preparation College, Farasan College of Education, and Community College for Girls.
