Mission

To enhance and develop scientific knowledge, academic, and research skills in order to contribute to the preparation of distinguished scientific cadres capable of disseminating knowledge in the fields of human physiology and anatomy, ensuring greater integration with other basic and clinical specialties.

 

Objectives

The Society aims to achieve the following in the fields of human physiology and anatomy:

  1. Educating and developing the fundamental principles for students and practitioners of various health professions, with a focus on their clinical applications within integrated educational programs.

  2. Encouraging and supporting scientific research and publishing its outcomes, with emphasis on addressing priority health issues in the Saudi community.

  3. Establishing a specialized, peer-reviewed scientific journal to serve as a platform for researchers to publish their scientific contributions.

  4. Promoting integration with other basic and clinical medical sciences to achieve both theoretical and practical complementarity through the development of joint postgraduate programs in Saudi universities.

  5. Attracting outstanding talents to join postgraduate programs by organizing awareness and orientation initiatives that target undergraduate students to introduce them to the importance of these disciplines and their future prospects.

  6. Collaborating with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties to set appropriate standards for practice that ensure professional recognition and enhance opportunities to join specialized programs.
