The department's delegate develops a laser atom cooling device at the University of Nottingham - United Kingdom

Jazan University’s Ms. Somayya Madkhali, a Ph.D. student at the University of Nottingham, UK, and her team developed a laser atom cooling device using parts printed by a 3D printer.

The department is proud of this achievement, which was highly praised by several scientific and media bodies.

It was published in a journal with a high impact factor.
