Jazan Governor sponsors the graduation of the 15th and 16th batches of University students

His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan region, affirmed that the University has succeeded in qualifying the youths to be skilled, qualified and able to serve their country and community with their knowledge and training that enable them to support the building process and achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

His Highness stated that University students carry luminous thoughts and scientific knowledge that illuminates the path of their future, immune to extremism and destructive ideas according to the values of patriotism and moderation, what the University has instilled in them.

This came during His Highness’ patronage of Jazan University’s Graduation ceremony of 19,316 students representing the 15th and 16th  batches in the Faculty of Arts and Community auditorium, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor, with the participation of the batch toppers and the University Council on Tuesday, while adhering to safety measures.

The ceremony began with the National Anthem, followed by recitation of the verses from the Holy Qur’an recited by a student from the Philippines, representing foreign scholarship students.

His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei Hussein Al-Qahtani, delivered a speech in which he thanked His Highness, the Governor of the region and His Highness, the Deputy Governor, for all the support that the university has enjoyed since its inception.
His Excellency added that the University provided quality education with new and innovative techniques and today it is celebrating the graduation of nearly 19,000 students representing 27 countries.
His Excellency presented a letter of thanks to his sons and daughters, students and alumni and stated that we are proud of you, and we have faith that you shall always stand up for your nation and leadership.

This was followed by a film announcing the results produced by the General Administration of Public Relations and Media, which narrates the path of university students in their various faculties and carries a letter of thanks to the university for what it has provided to them during their educational journey.

This was followed by the graduates’ speech delivered by the Faculty of Medicine graduate, Dr. Al-Anoud Bahari.

After that, the Music and Vocal Arts Club of the Deanship of Student Affairs presented the song “Wathiqeen” under the supervision of Dr. Othman Hakami and written by Muhammad Hajri, composed by Yahya Azeeq, followed by the performance of the students of the Music Club, Muhammad Khamisi and Ruaa Zakari, supervised by Dr. Walid Al-Salhi and Ibrahim Khudair, and the production of Fahad Kamli and Musa Muharraq.
After that, the toppers were honored to take memorial photos with His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, patron of the graduation ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani presented to the Governor and His Deputy, two souvenir gifts, the paintings made by the student of the College of Design and Architecture, Rehab Zakary.
