The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs inaugurates the orientation meeting at the College of Education

Under the auspices of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hassan Ishaq, the College of Education inaugurated its counseling meeting entitled (Positive Adaptation to Crises). The meeting began with a speech by the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Khalid bin Hussein, my client, delivered on his behalf by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Jabari, then the speech of the head of the Department of Psychology, Dr. Hassan bin Idris Al-Sumaili, who praised in his speech the efforts made by the Kingdom in light of the Corona pandemic, and how it made the people rehearsed to adapt in Any emergency crisis, then the intervention of Dr. Issa bin Ali Al-Adabi, assistant professor in the Department of Special Education, indicated that this pandemic provided a benefit for people with special disabilities and that they have an active role in benefiting from distance education and the speed of their adaptation.

An intervention was also made to the Academic Guidance Unit at the college by Dr. Doaa Shaltout.

The meeting witnessed a discussion on several axes, most notably positive thinking, prepared and presented by Dr. Hanan Mouss, and the role of the family in activating distance education for ordinary students and those with special educational needs, prepared and presented by A. Fatima Abdullah Adawi., and time management methods for mothers, prepared and presented by Dr. Omaima Abdel Wahab Radwan, and models translating the positive adaptation approach to crises presented by Dr. Amani Ali Al-Badawi and Dr. Kadia Muhammad Al-Fifi. In conclusion, the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Fatima Muhammad Brik, thanked and appreciated all the organizers and participants for this purposeful meeting.
