Vice Dean Message

In The Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful,

Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon His Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah and his family and companions.

The Faculty of Science is one of the colleges that were created to be a unique scientific edifice to serve the various University faculties. Aiming at achieving the vision of Jazan University, we aspire to occupy a prominent position both nationally and internationally and to be counterpart to the best science faculties in the universities of the world. In our endeavor to achieve this vision, the Faculty of Science is dedicated to create an academic learning environment that is characterized by providing support for students, academic and administrative staff.

I would like to take this opportunity to urge the students of the college to exert more efforts to raise their academic performance aiming at fair competition with their colleagues to get the best results. I also remind my colleagues, faculty members the need to be keen to care about the students and teach them useful things and keep them away from all suspicious thought, and to keep in mind their responsibility before Allah Almighty. And each worker would receive the reward of his work.

Perhaps this website which introduces the faculty, programs and services provided is an evidence of the importance of communicating with internal and external environment and it also represents an academic method through which the student, researcher and community are served. It has been taken into account a number of considerations when designing the site; the most important one is the clarity of ideas and simplicity of style and easy access to information. At last, I wish you all success.

Agency tasks

Supervising the implementation of the executive regulations and rules for the study and examination regulations for the university level.
Supervising the units affiliated with Student Affairs.
Supervising the preparation of study schedules for students in academic departments and coordinating with other faculties in cooperation with the Deanship of Admission and Registration and the Faculty’s Academic Schedules Committee.
Supervising the conduct of final exams and the formation of its committees, in coordination with the academic departments and the Deanship of Admission and Registration.
Supervising the application of admission and transfer controls from and to the college and between academic departments.
Supervising the work of the Student Affairs Committee and the Student Extracurricular Activities Committees.
Heading the committees affiliated to the agency and submitting their minutes and reports to the dean of the college.
Supervising the course equivalency process.
Supervising requests for postponement and apologies for studying, as well as deletions and additions for undergraduate students by the regulations and decisions issued in this regard.
Supervising the preparation of lists of deprivation, and lists of graduates.
Supervising the activities of the college induction week.
Guiding and guiding students and resolving issues related to academic achievement.
Submit periodic reports to the Dean of the College on the progress of work in the units affiliated to it, according to the tasks assigned to it, and the difficulties it faces.
Supervising the implementation of the student activities plan.
Carrying out the work of the college council secretariat.
The follow-up to update the college website about student affairs and its academic units.
Executing the work assigned by the dean of the college.
