The Sharia Department, since its inception with the beginning of the college’s establishment in the year 1432 AH, has had a clear vision, specific mission, and lofty goals consistent with the vision, mission, and goals of the College of Sharia and Law and Jazan University. It represents a solid foundation for Sharia education, scientific progress, and the advancement of society. We focus on developing our scientific competencies, and research studies that combine originality and contemporary topics.

The Sharia Department aims to achieve the requirements of progress, excellence, and leadership by graduating qualified students in Sharia: that contribute to clarifying the provisions of developments, spreading intellectual security, enhancing Sharia and legal awareness, serving the community, addressing its issues and solving its problems, according to quality and development standards, the needs of the labor market, and the Saudi Vision 2030.

By the grace of God Almighty, the department has achieved remarkable successes including: obtaining full programmatic accreditation, and graduating a large number of male and female students who have contributed to the process of building this benevolent country through various jobs, and all this is with the grace of God Almighty first and then the support of the Deanship of the college and the university administration and its support for the department. We believe in working with a team spirit based on creativity, innovation, excellence and leadership.
