About the Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs
The Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs oversees the educational process at the College of Business, ensuring its quality through academic planning, implementation of regulations, curriculum development, and alignment of learning outcomes with accreditation requirements and labor market needs.
The Vice Deanship works in partnership with the college's academic departments and in continuous coordination with relevant university deanships. It strives to enhance the student experience through academic advising, scheduling, and improving educational support services.
Special emphasis is placed on developing faculty capabilities and raising academic performance through training initiatives, modern teaching practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement based on data-driven assessment.
Tasks and Responsibilities

✓ Supervising the educational process and ensuring its quality according to approved regulations |
✓ Developing study plans and reviewing courses to meet labor market requirements |

✓ Coordinating with academic departments on schedules, sections, teaching assignments, and needs |
✓ Following up on academic advising and supporting student academic affairs |

✓ Supervising the preparation of class schedules and final exams and ensuring efficient use of facilities |
✓ Monitoring assessment procedures and analyzing results to improve teaching and learning |

✓ Monitoring course and program reports, tracking academic performance indicators, and proposing improvement plans |
✓ Supervising the work of academic committees and following up on their recommendations |
