Area of Services

The center provides services in developing teaching and learning strategies and assessment methods and evaluation for all academic and administrative units at the university as follows:
– Managing best educational practices and providing electronic forms for following up on teaching and learning processes and evaluating learning outcomes at the level of courses and programs.
- Developing mechanisms for the follow-up to improve education programs and activities and assessment to achieve the university’s mission, which is one of the most important priorities of excellence in teaching and learning to ensure that the country is provided with competitive graduates in the labor market.
- Encouraging and adopting qualitative initiatives in the field of university education and learning to raise the comptetitiveness of graduates and develop students’ skills in the academic aspect, leadership and innovation.
- Identifying the best-distinguished practices in teaching and learning, appropriate methods of assessment and evaluation, and their transfer and localization according to the required specifications.
- Providing programs with models for evaluating learning and teaching outcomes in order to analyze strengths and weaknesses to improve the development of programs to meet the requirements of the labor market and recent developments.
- Follow-up and evaluation of the plans of the various academic programs in light of the quality requirements and the need of the labor market.
- Follow up on teaching and learning performance indicators in order to formulate strategic decisions to achieve excellence, competition and sustainability.
- Working on linking the strategies of excellence in teaching and learning to achieve the sustainable competitiveness of the university.
- Contribute to the development of policies to develop teaching methods, student assessment systems, and faculty assessment in a way that supports the university’s orientation towards student-centred education.
- Contribute to providing services to governmental and private local community institutions.
