Jazan University will be a gateway to the future for Jazan Province and the Kingdom, recognized nationally and internationally with its distinguished education academic excellence, competent graduates, high-quality research and services that make an economic and social impact in the region and the world. 

Mission of Vice Presidency:

Achieve academic excellence, prepare graduates to become leaders at the national and regional level in the fields of business, industry, health, education, and government sector; and serve the community by addressing the problems it faces and support the economic and social development. As well as conduct internationally recognized research and latest technologies to meet the needs of the Jazan region, and even the needs of Saudi Arabia and the world at large.

Objectives :

1. Setting plans to develop the educational and administrative process at the university.
2. Spreading the university’s culture of quality and development.
3. Establishing plans and strategies for developing teaching and learning.
4. To work on developing the skills of faculty members through courses and programs.
5. Establishing standards for measuring the educational process.
6. To cooperate with the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment to raise the university’s efficiency and quality.
7. To work on raising the efficiency of the academic programs at the university and their relevance to the requirements of development and the need of the labor market.
8. Develop strategies for performance evaluation and quality assurance at the university.
9. To supervise the development of academic programs in accordance with national and international quality standards.
10. Preparation of the university’s annual report.
11. Providing the data and information required for the university’s development and planning process.
