About the Department
The Infrastructure Department, or as it is also called the Institutional Infrastructure Office, is a consulting office that develops recommendations for the university’s digital transformation strategic plan by standing on the current situation of the university in the field of information technology, planning and supervising the process of future change in light of the requirements of digital transformation (digital transformation initiatives and projects) in line with national trends, policies and projects.
Objectives of the Institutional Structure Department
- Improving the decision-making process for senior management.
- Providing effective and inexpensive technical solutions with efficient availability of services.
- Assisting in the effectiveness of projects and the success of transformation processes.
- Raising the efficiency of using the university's assets and important information.

Functions of the Institutional Structure Department
The Institutional Structure Department performs the following tasks:
- Documentation and automation of the institutional architecture and management of the enterprise infrastructure system.
- Reviewing and updating the institutional structure whenever the need arises.
- Governance and continuous updating of the institutional structure and alignment of information technology projects with the strategic direction.
- Coordination with the Project Management Office in all matters relating to the implementation of information technology projects.
- Develop the structure and policies of the institutional structure office.
