Jazan University students emerge victorious in the (COVID 19) Start up challenge of the Ministry of Education
Jazan University students won the Global Remote Startup Challenge (Covid 19) organized by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with Techstars and Google Global, and made it to the top ten innovative projects.
The Supervisor of the University’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Nayef bin Mansour Mazkour, stated that the team consisting of two students, Hoda Ghazwani and Ghalia Hakami, won the challenge with an innovative project entitled “The Money Sterilization Machine”.
Dr. Mazkour emphasized that this achievement of the university and the student work team will have the opportunity to compete at the global level and under the guidance of Jazan University represented by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Mazkour expressed his gratitude to His Excellency the President of the University and the University Vice Presidency for Development and Entrepreneurship for their efforts in supporting innovative projects and preparing the necessary capabilities to achieve excellence locally and internationally.
