Message from the Chair:

Welcome to the website of the Electrical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering at Jazan University.

In the view of satisfying the essential needs of the industries and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) Program is introduced at the College of Engineering in Jazan University. In the face of the progressive developments, the Electrical Engineering Department has maintained a strong commitment to providing high-quality programs and services by conscientiously evaluating priorities and efficiencies of educational functions.

The department includes about 23 full-time faculty members who are spread in 5 specialized research areas. The groups in the department are power systems, communications, electronics, control systems, and power electronics. In addition, a group of experienced engineers and 6 technicians maintains more than 12 laboratories in the department.
