Jazan University conducts Workshop on Implementation of The Strategic Plan 2020

Jazan University launched a workshop on the first phase of the Implementation of the Strategic Plan for the year 2020. The mentioned plan targets all University sectors such as Vice Presidencies, Colleges, Deanships and Supporting Units. The workshop was conducted from 26th -28th October, at the Celebration Hall in Hayat Hotel.

The Vice President for Quality and Academic Development, Professor Dr. Ali Bin Ahmed Al-Kamli explained that the workshop was conducted as part of the Strategic Plan set by the University for its vision, for the year 1441 A.H./2020. He stated that the plan was devised through collaboration with the concerned Units, after visiting a number of University sites, and surveying studies for the current status of all departments, colleges and deanships of the University.

Professor Al-Kamli stated that the workshop was held through collaboration with the British Brunel University. A number of experts and academics, who contributed in drawing the landmarks of the executive plan that will be followed by the University during the coming phase, attended the workshop.

Professor Al-Kamli stressed that, the workshop is the first one that will continue for four days through which a number of lectures and workshops will be presented. These workshops and lectures target those who are nominated by the University Vice Presidencies, Colleges, Departments and all other facilities, seeking to reach the visualization of objectives of the executive plan. It will be followed by a number of workshops in the coming phases for implementing the Strategic Plan of the University. It is worth mentioning that the University implemented its Strategic Plan last year, which is considered as a road map to be followed during the coming years, achieving its vision for the University to be the gateway of the future for the Region and the Kingdom. The aim is to make the University a distinguished one, regionally and internationally, by its distinguished learning environment, qualified graduates, effective researches and services that create an economic and social impact in the Region as well as the world.
