The Dean of the Faculty of Education, the head of the delegation, Dr. Mohammed bin Hassan Abu Racine pointed out that the aim of the visit is to develop mechanisms to support educational programs and projects, student exchange visits  as well as academic cooperation between the Faculty of Education at the University of Jazan and the College of Education and Human Development at George Mason University..

Dr. Abu Racine said that the delegation discussed with officials at George Mason University areas of research collaboration in special education and human disabilities, including behavior analysis, assistive technology, autistic disorder, intellectual disability, and moderate to severe disabilities, special early childhood Education, physical education, and other fields of education and human development.

Dr. Abu Racine discussed the possibility of mutual cooperation on student exchange visits, dual academic programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, continuing education , professional development, the development of joint research projects, exchange of specialized studies and organize joint academic events..
