About the Faculty of
Medicine
Vision
In twenty years from now the Faculty
of Medicine Jazan University will be pioneering in
Medical Education at national, regional, and
international level , contributing effectively in
raising the health status in Jazan area.
Mission
The mission of the Faculty of Medicine is to raise
health status in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA),
especially Jazan Region, by graduating highly
qualified physicians who have skills for practice
in the community preventive, curative and promotive
health services.
Teaching and Learning Plan for Bachelor of Medicine
and surgery (M.B. B.S.) Degree:
The Faculty of Medicine Jazan University is adopting
a modern curriculum in medical teaching .It is an
integrated organ system-based curriculum with
community orientation. The Faculty of Medicine Jazan
is considered to be the first medical college in the
Kingdom adopting such a syllabus inline with
reputable international universities. |
