The Dean’s Message

In the Name of Allah, the most merciful and the most compassionate

Praise be to Allah, creator of the pen, who taught man things he did not know.  Out of its great concern with education, the government has established many scientific institutes, taking great care to equip them as to be on the same footing as their equivalents in the modern world.  Moreover, owing to the rapid expansion in healthcare services, the government has paid special attention to medical education by establishing a large number of colleges of health sciences throughout the kingdom.

The Faculty of Health Sciences in Jazan, opened in 1415, comprises six departments: nursing, radiology, general heath, laboratories, pharmacy, and operations.  The labs are equipped with the latest technologies and instruments to support the educational process.  The faculty has succeeded in assembling a body of highly-qualified faculty members, dedicated to qualifying and training students, who, after graduation, will feed into the various specialties of the healthcare sector, providing all types of healthcare services to patients.

I hope that our work, directed to the face of Allah, will bear fruit and be welcomed by the public.
