Dean’s Message
The second half of the twentieth century witnessed a marvelous technological revolution, especially in the field of computer and its various applications, whose profound impact is felt in almost all aspects of life: industry, education, commerce, and recreation. All developed countries have paid special attention to this rapidly-evolving technology, directing their investments and research capabilities to develop and utilize it. Thus, specialized faculties and institutes are devoted to this emerging science, and the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics in Jazan has been established to keep pace with these modern advancements for the benefit of our nation and the progress of our country.
The faculty aims to meet the needs of our community for these new sciences, graduating generations of specialists who are able to cope with this modern technology and to benefit from its versatile applications.
